About Aadhaar Address Change
According to the official website of UIDAI, there is no limit for changing Aadhaar card address. You can change it several times. If you want to change Aadhaar card address, you need to upload some documents like address proof including passport, diary card, disability card (if any), SC/ST/OBC certificate issued by central or state government, electricity bill or water bill.
Here are the simple steps to change address on Aadhaar card from UIDAI portal
Step 1. Go to the official website of UIDAI
Step 2. Click on “My Aadhaar” tab.
Step 3. Select Update Aadhaar and then click Update Demographics Online.
Step 4. When you click on Update Demographics, a new page will open. You have to click on ‘Proceed to Aadhaar Update’.
Step 5. You will then need to enter your Aadhaar number and Captcha for verification.
Step 6. Once you enter the required details, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 7. You have to enter the OTP in the box and click on Login.
Step 8. Now you have to make all required changes and upload relevant documents like Admit Card, Passport etc.
Step 9. Next is the Payment option. You are asked to pay Rs. 50 of the changes. However, you can do it for free until June 14th.
Step 10. After paying the amount, the changes are made successfully.
It can take up to a month to update your Aadhaar card address and you can change it multiple times.
